What Causes Swelling And Soreness Around The Head Of The Penis?
Question: Hello Sir,
Around 2 weeks back while having sexual intercourse with my wife, I observed that my penis foreskin has swollen and experienced
little pain when tried retracting my foresking for cleaning my penis. After a while i was able to retract and clean it.Again after few days when
i and my wife got physical penis foreskin swelled and a frenulum attachehed to the foresking became red. I contacted doctor and he prescribed Dolokind-AA and
Drez solution and told me that there is bruise on my frenulum. But doctor advised me to go for circumcision and also remove my frenulum.
I daily wash my penis and no problem in retracting my foreskin when flaccid. When erect foreskin not easily retracts but i used oil as lube and no issues
while having intercourse.I always felt discomfort while having Oral Sex.After doing lot of search on internet I found that above problem can be due to tight foreskin or small frenulum. But how to find the exact issue,
I don't know.
And i also observed that my frenulum attached to foresking and the part attached to glans are not exactly in a straight line. Is this normal or not I dont know.
Now when i pull my foreskin back and when foreskin retracts to normal position i feel some pain in my frenulum(it's like somebody pricking with needle) so now i
retract back very slowly so to avoid the pain.
My age is 29 and weight 88 kg. I am allergic to sulphur medicines.I contacted two doctors but without proper understanding my problem they told me to go for circumcision
and frenulum removal.I want this to be the last option.
Please advise me on the above problem. Current Iam taking Arnica XXXXXXX 30 CH( homeopathy medicine).
I have not undergone circumcision and frenulum removal surgery...
Please find the current image. with bruise highlighted..

Hello
Thanks for your query, based on the facts and photographs that you have uploaded I would state that you have thick band of adhesion between frenulum and glans penis making retraction of foreskin painful which causes abrasion and edema of the frenulum during intercourse .
The only best treatment option is to get circumcised .
This is a simple surgery done under local anaesthesia as a out patient procedure and offers permanent cure and helps to have enjoyable sex for rest of the life.
