What Causes Swelling And Tingling Sensation In The Left Arm And Fingers?
Question: I have swelling and occasional tingling in my left arm and fingers after taking 2 furosemide pills about two weeks ago. Is this something I should be immediately concerned(emergency care) about or should I just schedule an appointment with my physician sometime this week and explain to her my concerns.
Brief Answer:
Common side effect
Detailed Answer:
Dear Ms, furosemide can cause the side effect of tingling , numbness and swelling of arms or feet.
This is a sort of minor allergy to the furosemide.
I suggest that you take vitamin b12 supplements and apply an apply an anti inflammatory gel as voltaren 3 times daily until the swelling subsides.
This is not an emergency, but if this continues and does not respond to treatement , you will need to have it examined.
I hope I answered your question . if you don't have any other clarifications then please close the discussion.
