Question: Hello Doctor,
I am 35 years old. I have having slight congestion and cold. I was on some fertility medicines. I suffered a reaction last Friday. My knees had become tight and feet were swollen. I also noticed swelling behind my ears. today the swelling is painful when I touch it and I am unable to turn my head. My knee swelling is gone but my swelling behind ears is still there. Not sure what to do. Please advise

Swelling behind the ears can be due to mastoiditis or it can be a part of the allergic reaction you are mentioning.
Mastoiditis is common after an episode of cold and congestion.
I would suggest you to take a tablet levocetrizine once daily. It has an anti allergic action and won't interfere with your fertility issues too. air will help with cold also.
Get get a picture clicked of your ear swelling and send me. Also tell me is there any ear discharge?
Take steam inhalation.
Follow up with the required information so that I can suggest you better.
Wishing you a speedy recovery.
Thanks and regards
