Brief Answer:
Kidneys and heart condition should be checked by your doctor.

Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Thank you for the query.

Yes, you should see your doctor with this issue. Both feet symmetrical swelling can be caused by heart disease (heart failure), kidney failure or low protein in the blood.
Swelling is caused by water which escapes from the blood vessels to tissues. As the gravity works stronger on legs, swelling appears in this area at first. If the heart does not pump with enough strength, blood can not get back to heart and remains in legs for too long. This allows water to escape from the blood vessels.
Kidneys problems can cause protein excretion with an urine. This leads to low protein amount in the blood stream. As the protein holds water, it starts to go outside the blood vessels.
You may have foamy urine with kidneys disease and shortness of breath with heart disease.

Hope this will help. Feel free to ask further questions.
Regards.
