Brief answer...need some more information
Detailed answer....
Hello,
Thanks for the query.
I understand your problem but to arrive at some conclusion,I need more information from you.
Since when it is happening to you ?
Does this happen daily?
Dont your legs swell on standing?
Does this swelling appear around your menstrual period time.
Have you consulted any doctor for this?
Are you taking any medications like steroids, amtidepressants, contraceptive pills etc.
Have you been investigated for anemia, blood proteins, hypothyroidism, liver function tests, kidney function tests etc?
Are you overweight or pregnant ?
Awaiting your reply.
Thanks

this has been happening since past few weeks irrespective of menstrual cycle. m neither pregnant nor on any medication of any kind. haven't consulted any doctor as yet. happens almost daily. dont think it happens while am standing. hvnt been diagnosed with the problems you have mentioned above. am slightly over weight I think as my weight is around 55kg while my height is 5 feet. my ideal weight was told to me as 48kg. pl suggest.
Hello,
You must consult a physician and get yourself comprehensively tested for anemia, hypoprotenemia ( low protein levels in blood),liver function test, kidney function tests ,thyroid function tests.
Get your blood pressure monitored because high blood pressure can also cause lead to swelling in feet.
Treatment would depend upon the cause.
I hope it helps, however you may revert to me for any further query.
Best of luck.
