What Causes Swelling In Testicles After Liposuction Surgery?
Question: dear doctor, im a male 31 years old i had a liposuction sergery with fully anesthetized yesterday for my tomy & chest & back and they pull 6 litters fat, but from the second day i suffer from a huge swelling in my both Testiculars from the moment i stand on my feet , its getting bigger and bigger, it is cold and i dont feel pain in them , is it normal ? or does it need a special treatment to remover the swelling?
Brief Answer:
Fluid has passed into the scrotal skin.
Detailed Answer:
Hi
As liposuction was done to your tummy, some amount of fluid will left over after liposuction.
This fluid has migrated to the scrotum. The testis will be healthy. But, the layers surrounding the testis will be swollen.
I would a pressure bandage of the scrotum.
Medicines can't reduce the swelling.
I normally prefer to give small incisions over the scrotum and let the fluid out.
Please consult your doctor and proceed.
Nothing to worry.
If you have any queries, I will clarify further.
Wish you good health and speedy recovery.
Regards
