Brief Answer:
Probably allergy

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for asking,

I can understand your concern

Yes, it might be related to allergy situation.

In this condition it would be better for you to do some tests to detect the cause of allergy (other than smoking ) as follows:

Specific IgE
Prick tests
Pneumoalergens
Spirometry test

If the above results come positive then you may be having allergy from some allergens (according to the results ) and the allergologist will advise you further for the treatment (if needed ) or proper follow-up.

Sometimes even with the above tests, some allergy can not be detected thus remain unknown.

Please discuss with your doctor for the above

You should stop smoking too.

Take care and feel free to upload/attach the results here also and we will discuss again.

Best Wishes

Dr.Jolanda
