What Causes Swelling In The Fingers While On Acetaminophen?

Question: my fingers are swelling up after taking acetaminophen. why is this happening. very painful
Brief Answer:
seems like an allergic reaction to acetaminophen
Detailed Answer:
Dear Sir, I have gone through your question and I can understand your concerns.
But it seems that you are experiencing an allergic reaction to acetaminophen. I would recommend that you stop taking acetaminophen immediately and take an antihistaminic as Cetirizine 10mg once daily before going to bed to relive the swelling.
If no improvement occurs then you will need to refer to your doctor to get a prescription of Prednisone(steroid) in order to abort the allergic attack.
I hope I answered your question.
Kind regards
