What Causes Swelling In The Leg When Having History Of Meniscus Surgery?

Question: about 4 months ago my knee hurt tremendously and my knee and leg blew up, vascular doctor said everything is good, orthopedist said I have a torn meniscus and authritis. is the swelling of my leg from the meniscus? my leg is still swollen by my ankle. Regular MD does not think swelling is from knee, any ideas?

Evidence suggests that meniscus surgery in the presence of Osteoarthritis won't help you. It is best to consider knee replacement for the arthritic knee.

Due to knee issue, the ankle may be strained on account of abnormal stresses.

To keep your limb elevated and roll a crepe bandage from below upwards. This will help to reduce the swelling.
