Its normal recovery process
Detailed Answer:
Hi dear XXXXXXX
Thank you for posting the question.
I have gone through your medical history in detail.
I guess, you may be on strict immobilisation, rest and splint since injury. This leads to lowered venous drainage and swelling of the affected limb.
This is usually temporary and once you start mobilising and doing your routine activities, the swelling will gradually go away.
Depending upon the recovery process, this will take another 4-6 weeks to heal.
Have you been operated for ACL/LCL injuries?
Are you on plaster splint?
What medicines are you taking right now?
I hope the answer was useful.
Feel free to ask me any follow up queries that you may have.
Thank you.
Best regards.

i am taking bonebase plus and co rosiflex ace.
i was on complete bed rest for 1 month and did not go through any surgery.
issues i am having now is swelling whenever i put my feet down for half an hour or long.
pain is not there.
i am doing exercises as well.
anything else i need to do?
nothing to worry about
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have seen the attached MRI report.
Luckily you have partial ACL and LCL tears which heal spontaneously.
Now that you have already taken rest for 1 month, all you need is continue doing knee exercises (Quadriceps and Hamstring strengthening).
The swelling that you are experiencing occurs in all patients with such injuries and will definitely go away within a few weeks.
You can take trypsin, chymotrypsin or serratiopeptidase tablets for swelling.
The other medicines that you are taking are correct and you should continue taking them.
Thank you.

like half an hour walk.. or only concentrate on exercises?
and how long should i take co rosiflex ace
start with 15 minutes walk
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
You can start with a slow 15 minutes walk daily.
Every week, depending upon the recovery, you can increase walking duration for 5 minutes.
Co-rosiflex ace should be taken for 3 months for optimum results.
At present, you should concentrate more on exercises. If possible, you should consult a physiotherapist and do these exercises under physiotherapist's guidance.
If this is not possible,i can mail you the exercise details if you want.
Thank you.
