Brief Answer:
Acute infection of tonsils.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for your query.
In my opinion, you might be having infection of your tonsils. White pus coming out of tonsil suggest severe infection.
Continue with saline water gargle but preferable would be povidone gargle and zerodol tablet.
Along with this, you will need antibiotics to reduce the infection.
If I were your treating doctor, I would have prescribed penicillin antibiotics + clavulanic acid combination drugs twice daily for 5 days. Hot saline gargling will be helpful. Avoid cold and oily foods items. Symptoms will take at least 48 hours to reduce. Please discuss regarding these with your treating doctor.
Hope my answers have helped you.
Thanks.
