
What Causes Swelling On The Left Foot And Pain While Walking?

Question: my left foot is swollen and also hurts to walk on.i have lumbar spinal stinosis and i'm wondering if it could be part of that. what i'm looking for is something to relieve the pain and being uncomfortable. thank you.

Usually in lumbar canal stenosis, there's can be pain radiating from the lower back to the lower limbs.
Swelling of the limb may not be a part of lumbar canal stenosis.
It is advisable to keep the limb elevated, take Tablet Pregabalin 75mg at night for a month. Get an MRI of the lumbosacral spine to see the extent of the stenosis and need for surgical decompression.
You need to get tested for thyroid disorder, heart conditions, liver and kidney problems to rule out causes of limb swelling.
