Hi,
Welcome to healthcare magic.
I had gone through your question.
I can understand your concern.
The strong acid in apple cider could cause irritation of throat mucosa and lead to throat discomfort. So, dilute the apple cider with large portions of water and drink.
The discomfort following apple cider is self limiting and nothing to worry.
You can take tablet paracetamol for relief.
You will be fine.
Hope I have answered your question. If you have any questions, I am happy to help.
Wish you a good health and speedy recovery.
