What Causes Swollen And Painful Labia When Diagnosed With Behcet's Disease?
Question: I have a large swollen left labia. Could this be a blood clot? It's swollen and painful. I have a vascular disease called Behcets.
Brief Answer:
Labial swelling
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for the query to hcm,
The most common reason for swollen labia without any frictional injury locally is likely to be a bartholin cyst formation which can increase in size and is otherwise painless and problem free but can cause difficulty in sexual act and often pressure symptoms.
Hematoma would cause a purplish discolouration of skin and also accompanied pain. If possible please attach a picture of the same in the follow up so that I can assist you better.
