Question: Hello Doctor,

Yesterday morning i woke up with a bump/swelling on back of my neck. It itches some times.

Can you please have a look at it.

This bump looks like a kind of infection. It may be caused by hair follicle inflammation or infected sebaceus cyst. Both conditions are not dangerous, however may be painful if not treated.
If you have been shaving this area recently, hair follicle inflammation is most probable. You may try to wash it few times a day with antiseptic agent and see how it acts. If it improves, no need to consult a doctor. However if it wont get better or get worse, please consult dermatologist.
