What Causes Swollen Face, Red Bumps And Burning Sensation After Using ROC 5 Cream?
I used ROC 5 in 1 Night Cream last night and awoke with a swollen face, red bumps and burning. I am assuming this is an allergic reaction to the cream. I have taken Benadryl, Advil, and iced my face - still hurts and is burning. Can you share what else I can do?

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for your query.
1. You seem to have had a severe allergic reaction. This is always possible if a test area was not used initially. You should see a skin specialist or visit an ER. Carry the cream container to list the ingredients. The most likely culprit is retinol or hexinol, which also degrade in sunlight. Get in touch with ROC/ XXXXXXX & XXXXXXX Consumer Care.
2. Newer generation anti-allergic medications such as cetrizine 10 mg or fexofenadine 180 mg will help. A steroid shot and a local steroid ointment will be useful. You will need a prescription for these.
I hope that I have answered your query. If you have any further questions, I will be available to answer them.
Regards.
