I can't seem to find a way for getting a picture but Will it go away on its own? Or medicine get I take?
Brief Answer:
Parotitis
Detailed Answer:
Hi
It is usually viral and goes on its own in a week. But sometimes it can be superadded / primarily infected with bacteria, then it needs antibiotics. If you don't have any fever, I will suggest you to try combination of diclofenac and serratiopeptidase twice daily for a week. These are available only on prescription. In the meantime, plan to visit an ENT doctor.
Wishing you a speedy recovery.
Thanks and regards
