Hi and thank you for asking!
I read your query and understood your concerns.
Leg swelling and other symptoms may be related to diltiazem use. Diltiazem is a calcium channel blockers and has as side effects leg and ankle swelling.
Leg edema from diltiazem will disappear within 1-2 weeks after stopping the pill.
If you were my patient I would recommend to switch to Nebivolol (instead of diltiazem). However, since Nebivolol may have other unwanted effects you should discuss with your doctor.
Hope this will be of help!
Wish you health!
