
What Causes Swollen Lymph Nodes In Groin Area?

Question: I have swollen lymph nodes (i think) in my hip/groin area. I work out regularly but have not had this condition before. I noticed it after a longer run the other day, and it has persisted the past 3 days. I also worked out the past 3 days, but not running, rather Insanity XXXXXXX 30.

lymph node swellings are often harmless and temporary and mostly due to local infection. However, if this persists for longer time ore any signs of infection occur there should be an ultrasound of the lymphnode and an infect scan (blood work, examination) scheduled.
