What Causes Tailbone Pain And Swelling In Testicle?
Question: Hello for about 3 months I have experienced tailbone pain and itsgetting worse - especially when getting up from a sitting position when a few seconds its very painful. I also noticed yesterday what seems to be a small lump embedded in a testicle - its not easy to locate but it is there.
Could there be any connection?

I have studied your case. I can assure you that Testis swelling is not associated with tail bone pain.These two are different pathologies. I will suggest you management of both.
1.for tail bone pain you need to avoid sitting for long hours.
2.sits in a tub filled with warm water for twenty minutes daily twice. It will provide heat at tail bone.
3.avoid travelling and jerky activities.
4.tablet Brufen for pain relief.
For testicular swelling I would suggest you to get ultrasound examination of the scrotum. If their is any ump then its diagnosis will be confirmed by this.

My work involves a long commute (2 hours eachway) and sitting at a desk for 8 hours so your number 1 and 3 is difficult unless I take time off work which as I am self employed means no income. Is there anything else I can do which can help so I can continue with the work?
