Is Tailbone Pain A Symptom Of Rectal Cancer?
Question: Could tailbone pain be a symptom of recital cancer? I have other symptoms too, looser stools, difficulty emptying, intermittent constipation, some left sided pain (think this could be ovulation pain though) nothing very alarming but some vague symptoms that worry me. I am 41. I thought I had a prolapse but gynie said I don't and to see co-rectal specialist? My doctor says it's IBS he did a digital exam about 3 months ago and anemia tests which were all clear? Thank you

I don't undwrstand your response sorry. I don't have an IBS diagnosis that's my doctors best guess. I saw a gynie for prolapse and he said it's not a prolapse it's a rectal issue. The tailbone pain is new is this a sign of rectal cancer? With the other symptoms it's worrying me? I have a specialist appointment in 2 weeks?
