Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.
I am so sorry to hear about this new diagnosis of diabetes. It is difficult to accept and integrate all the changes that come with this and its management. However, I must admit you have done a great job already. Seeing the trend of your blood sugars and all the different measures(diet and exercises) adopted to control this tells me you are on the right path to victory over diabetes.
Should you be disappointed about a value of 220 from 204? absolutely NOT. What about 220 and 381? That is the overall trend. It is never a smooth downward trend but an over all downward trend with some spikes during the process. It sickens me to see you feel disappointed when you should be celebrating your progress. be positive about yourself and take pride in your accomplishments.
As for your vision, I cannot tell what happened. But, rapid fluctuation in blood sugars may explain that. I will suggest you stay vigilant to see if you would observe such n abnormality again. Should you, only then would I want to consider digging further as there is no clear reason to get concerned at this time.
I hope this helps. I wish you well and thank you so much for using our services. Feel free to ask for clarifications and more information if need be. I would always be here to address your immediate concerns. You would never walk alone on this journey to defeat diabetes...unless you walk away from me.
