Question: Dr. XXXXXXX

I am still having scalp issues, tenderness, headaches, itchy bumps on my forehead.

I am waiting to see a neurologist Dec 1st. Have stopped all medications prescribed.
This has been a variable condition but today is much more evident. My scalp also is pinkish.

Any suggestions?

Brief Answer:
Take medications for pain relief

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX XXXXXXX
It will be good if you upload the image of lesion over forehead.
The possibilities may be folliculitis, seborrheic dermatitis, temporal arteritis.
For pain you can take gabapentin or amitriptyline which modulates pain sensitivity and also help in sleep.
Short duration pain killers like diclofenac, naproxen or etoricoxib can be taken.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
