Brief Answer:
hi and welcome
Detailed Answer:
Alp is increased and it may indicate liver issue or gallbladder stone. This can affect urine color and smell. You need to check all liver markers.also another possible cause is urinary infections so you should do kidney ultrasound urine analysis and std testing. I am sure that these tests will define exact cause. Wish you'd good health. Regards

I have had multiple kidney stones in the past so that is the likely candidate I was just concerned die to being on methotrexate for rheumatoid arthritis for a long time my. Bilirubin and other liver makers are normal since I get them checked every three months and I definitely do not have an std. Unless my husband is doing something that I doubt he is. Thank you. I feel better injustice it could be kidneys instead of liver even though that is bad it is not a failing liver. I am having symptoms that are indicative of kidney stones.

hi
Detailed Answer:
well,if liver enzymes and US are fine then there is no liver damage or disease and this is good news. STD isnt first thing to think of,but if other causes are exluded then it should be considered. Utinary stone can be made of various elements such as calcius, urates and some of it will lead to increased risk of uroinfection and uroinfection will cause urine smell changes. Also, some food will effect urine smell and color as well, asparagus for example.
