What Causes Terrible Stomach Pain Followed By Vomiting And Bowel Movement?
Question: Yes ,Thank you for your time.. A few days ago i had a terrible stomach pain ..Sun.. So I threw up and Later that night i vomited two more times only coffee grain type bile came up.. I know i had an Ulcer ..But the vomiting stopped i've had two bowel movements that were black as well . finally getting some food down ,but continued pain in stomach and lower back as well as front ?? holding out a bit because of already mounting Med . Bills.. When do i pull the plug..so to speak and go ER is packed and don't want to get the Flu on top of this..

There are multiple reasons for gastric ulcers. But as you have history of ulcers and in this episode you also had black stools it might suggest that ulcer might be rebleeding.
If it is small amount bleeding then it will recover on meds. But if it large amount bleed then intervention might be required by endoscopy to stop the bleed.
You mentioned you are taking ibuprofen for pain. Stop that drug right away. Ibuprofen or any of that NSAID painkiller group will only worsen the ulcer and cause increased bleeding.
You can take tablet pantoprazole 40mg tablet twice a day half hour before food so as to reduce the acidity and thus the ulcer irritation. If this is not available, omeprazole available as prilosec otc is available over the counter. You may also take antacids like Syrup sucralfate to coat over the ulcer and act as protective cover from more insult to it.
It will be beneficial if you could get a endoscopy done to get the exact cause for bleeding ulcer. If it is H. Pylori infection again you will need to take another course of H pylori kit antibiotics for another 14 days.
Avoid eating spicy and oily food for few days.
Try above remedy for 3 to 4 days. If it doesn't come down with this or you feel the bleeding is more then you should go to the ER.

Stopped everything but am very dizzy and feel like i have shooting pain in my lower back and hot poker in stomach not to mention that absolutely no energy at all.. force myself to do job..etc.. just want to sleep to stop the pain..Do have an appointment with Dr.'s tomorrow...

We see a lot of patients who have this symptoms especially those who have bleeding gastric ulcers.
Usually they end up losing blood and with reduced hemoglobin, this causing this tiredness and symptoms like that of yours.
As you do have appointment tomorrow also get your hemoglobin checked once. It might be low. If so get it corrected with appropriate treatment.
Also as you also will get your biopsy report by tomorrow so the picture will be clear as to what is the reason for this problem.
So kindly get your hemoglobin checked too tomorrow to rule out presence of anemia.
