Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you for asking!
I read your query and understood your concerns.
You are experiencing difficulties to have bowel movement, which is typical for constipation. This is why relieving constipation will help you to normalize your bowel movements.
In order to relieve your constipation and to normalize bowel movements I would like to recommend changing your lifestyle:
- Use plenty of water.
- Use vegetables and fresh fruits reached in fibers.
- Use olive oil 3 tea spoon per day.
- Continue using prune juice.
- Use Metamucil every day.
- Increase physical activity.
- Avoid unnecessary stress.
- Use stool softeners like lactulose.
If the symptoms will persist after 6-8 weeks than you should perform the following exams:
1. Abdominal ultrasound
2. Colonoscopy.
Hope this was of help!
Wish you all the best!
