Detailed Answer:
Hello ma'am and welcome.

Thank you for writing to us.

I have gone through your query with diligence and would like you to know that I am here to help. If you do not mind me asking, could you tell me since when you have had the thick and stringy saliva?

+Has it been there for a long duration of time? If so, how long?

+The period of time during which you have been experiencing the thick and stringy saliva, have you been well hydrated?

+How would you rate your level of hydration on a scale of 0 to 5; 5 being more than is required (4-5 liters a day) and 0 being absolutely no fluid intake.

+How much is your fluid intake per day in liters?

+Do you smoke?

+Do you have any sinus-like symptoms and have you a history of sinus issues?

+Is your tongue coated white?

+History of allergies?

+Any gastric related issues like acid reflux, regurgitation of food or water into your mouth, heartburn, abdominal bloating, changes in appetite, etc.?

+Have you been experiencing any of the symptoms like polyphagia (increased appetite), polydipsia (increased thirst), and polyuria (increased frequency of urinating)?

+Do you have any underlying chronic conditions (e.g. hypertension, diabetes, etc.)?

+Are you on any medications? Please do list them out for me if you are on any medications.

I need this information before I can suggest a list of possible causes and so I would like to request you to please address each one of my queries so I can better help you ma'am. :)

Best wishes.
