possibilities explained
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for your query. I can understand your concerns.
It seems you are having Da Costa's syndrome, a set of symptoms that are similar to those of heart disease, though a physical examination does not reveal any abnormalities. It is considered the manifestation of anxiety disorder. One can get throbbing chest pain.
Sore spot on left side of chest just above the breast bone (sternum) goes against Costochondritis (Tietz syndrome) or intercostal myositis which also can give rise to similar kind of pain.

Brief Answer:
Non-cardiac chest pain
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for your query. I can understand your concerns.
First of all cardiac pain is usually retro-sternal (behind the breast bone) and not throbbing one and does not shift from one side to other side as you described.
Since your EKG , stress test everything were normal and anxiety factor is dominant, first you need relief of anxiety and mild anxiolytic like alprazolam will help. Discuss about this with your doctor.
