What Causes Thumping Sensation In Upper Abdominal Area?

Question: Just recently had an endoscopy. Barrett's Esophagus was ruled out after biopsies were fine even though the pics didn't look great. Just gastritis and some erosion. Today I started feeling a thumping sensation in my upper right abdomen. No pain or fever..no back pain...just a intermittent thump that is worse laying on my back. It doesn't seem to coincide with my pulse. Of course everything I read says some sort of aneurysm. Before I go into a panic and start calling all the Drs again....is this normal in the sense that it can be from the gastritis or muscle spasms? It came on suddenly after I had a few hours previous and hasn't stopped. I tried taking my prescribed Hyoscyamine (sp?) and a Gas-X which did not help. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you!
Brief Answer:
There is no cause for concern

Dear Sir
Thumping sensation not coinciding with pulse is unlikely to be due to aneurysm. Rest be assured there is no cause for concern. Stress, anxiety associated with gastritis could produce such upper abdominal symptoms. Continue taking the medication, meals on time and adequate rest be reduce the symptoms.

thank you. ..my GI told me basically the same thing...I am also taking Keflex which he said can really mess.with the flora in your gut and make things not well...he said not to worry...although I have noticed my stool has a hint of.orange color to it and I noticed what appeared to be little pea sized drops of orange colored oil or something...never saw that before....anymore help would be appreciated.
Brief Answer:
It could be due to undigested food matter
Detailed Answer:
Dear Ms
Discolouration of stools without XXXXXXX blood or evidence of blood is likely to be due to indigested food material which could discolour the stools. In the absence of pain while passing stools and absence of XXXXXXX blood , there seems to be no cause for concern.
Rest be assured there is no cause for concern.
