Question: i have some numbness in my right side. It started after an acupuncture treatment for my right shoulder and she said she would also work on my kidney. It started yesterday after the treatment. It was like the tightness along the right side meridians seemed to be like a spasm in the right back side and down the inside and outside of my lower back and legs. I have experienced swelling around the right ankle and foot for the past 3 months and getting a DVT / vascular scan scan next week.

Hello,
I have read your case and I think the treatment which you got (Accupuncture) has caused this problem in you. It may be possible that any needle may have hit some nerve or it can be a muscle spasm also .Before I advise you anything I want to know little detail about your illness.
1.What treatment you received, Did that involved any massage or manipulation also?
2.Do you think that pain and spasm in both shoulder and ankle is same or different?
3.Have you had any similar thing in the past? Are you having hypertension or Diabetes?
