Brief Answer:
Muscle relaxants will help.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
The pain that you have now is likely to be due to worsening of the disc prolapse. It is best to consult an orthopedician and get an MRI scan done. Taking muscle relaxants in addition to the pain killers will help. Do start with proper physiotherapy exercises once the acute pain subsides.
I hope this answers your query.
