
What Causes Tingling Sensation From The Toes To The Shoulder?

68 y/o male 6'5" 280#
smoked 45 years
stopped 6 years ago, copd, Diabetes Type II
A1C 7.2 up to 9.0
was swimming 1 mile a day then stopped when mother died last Fall.
Question (?): this morning and a few times in the last 6 months my left side from toes to shoulder, on the outside of my body, and down arm have started to tingle and worked way up body from lower extremities. Then subsided into body trunk and then body perspiration, head on left side first then forehead then right side and down torso front and back. Sorta like a XXXXXXX earthquake, onset of noticeable memory issues this last week as well. Not sure of the question--advise?

You may also require investigations like MRI Brain, MRI Cervical Spine and EEG
