What Causes Tingling Sensation In Feet?

Question: I am 59years old my feet sometime tingling and sometime if i wear tennis shoe i don't feel comfortable with it will be hotting me. What is this to my feet? and i also has corn on my feet.

See if a corn is there that causes pain and not tingling. However you can always check that with self examination.
Since you are hypertensive chances of neuropathy are there.
Provide me following details:
1. Any history of diabetes?
2. What medicines are you taking for BP?
3. Tingling is in one leg or both?
4. Any pain or numbness?
5. Any slipping of slippers while walking?
6. Any history of anemia?

I was recently diagnose of type 2 diabetes, my BP medication are atenonol & chlorithodone and lisnopril, the tingling are both legs. no pain or nubness, no slipping of slippers. There is history of anemia.
Yes I have corn on one foot. what can use to remove this corn?

Dear Friend.
This might be diabetic neuropathy. It is not because of corn as the corn won't cause tingling in both legs.
I would advise you to get further workup done:
1. Nerve Conduction Velocity testing of legs
2. Vitamin B12 levels as the vitamin B12 deficiency anemia can cause the same symptoms.
3. To get Kidney function test.
4. To get Urine for microalbumin.

Review with me with the reports as the treatment would depend on the cause.
For removal of corn you need to see a dermatologist.
