What Causes Tingling Sensation In Head While On Regesterone?

Had an exhaustive and tiring journey before 4 days.
Mild headache too. Is it something related to Eye, stomach or brain? Can it be brain tumor?
Tell a few details.
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
Thanks for being on healthcaremagic.com.
I am Dr.Ajay Panwar,a neurologist,here to answer your query.
Regesterone can very well,be a cause of all these symptoms.I would like to know the following details in order to answer this further-
1)Did the symptoms started after you started taking regesterone?
2)For how long does the distorted vision lasts?
3)Any other past medical or disease history?
For now, please reassure yourself and don't think of remote possibilities like 'brain tumor' in just 4 days history. It will make you unnecessarily anxious.
Further,do you have a history of refractory error in vision?Presently,if the symptoms keep on persisting, then you can get an ophthalmologist's opinion.
Regesterone may be a cause of stomach problems as well but origin of all the symptoms is not in stomach.
Please follow-up with details so that I can answer it further.
Regards

Yes the numbness of face and right head started after that.Right side head near ear is aching a little also. We went for a vacation and got into water sports when a huge tide got into my nose, nostrils, throat and I felt as if it when to my head. But that very day I was alright once i came back. Can this be the issue?
I am feeling numbness on my right face sometimes but it started today.
2)For how long does the distorted vision lasts?
Distorted vision lasts till i rub my eyes or maximum 5 mins. The vision is hazzy. However today i hardly felt those hazzy visions.
3)Any other past medical or disease history?
No Past medical history. Just have a disturbed sleep since 3 years and Migraine too. Is this an migraine effect?
I went through a lot of stuff on google. And literally very scared. Please suggest.
Do regular mental relaxation exercises and observe for the improvement.
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
Thanks for being in follow-up and providing further details.
That huge tide of water may have contributed some of the symptoms but the symptoms should improve soon,if that's the reason.
I suggest you to stop Regesterone if it is not absolutely indicated and start doing regular mental relaxation exercises to manage your anxiety.Management of anxiety itself may help to improve the symptoms.
If the symptoms still persist after a couple of days, please get examined by a physician.
Migraine should not be causing these symptoms.
Hope that I have answered your query. If you have some further questions,I shall be glad to answer else please close the thread, rate it and write a review as your rating will be of help to me.
