Question: Hi! I'm 27 years old and a couple of months ago I developed dizziness and vision disturbances. Then on top of that I now have tinnitus on the left side with a little bit of hearing loss. Now occasionally my left arm will feel numb/tingly and my head will as well. I've had a negative ct scan and normal blood tests/EEG. The doctor said it was a probably an inner ear virus, or possibly menieres. But now I am unsure due to the tingling sensations that I am feeling. Could they be connected? Please help! Thanks

Brief Answer:
Shouldn't be connected.

Detailed Answer:
I read your question carefully and I understand your concern.

I imagine that the tingling feeling must be very worrying for you. However I notice that it is on the left side, the same side as the tinnitus and the hearing loss. That makes a connection between the two not likely because if there was a lesion like a tumor on the left side causing the hearing issues the symptoms in the limbs due to compression by the tumor should have been on the other side, on the right. That is how our brain is organized the left part innervates the right limbs and vice verse. They do cross on the other side at a certain point, but that is below the region responsible for the hearing and balance. I hope I was understandable to you.
So the tingling feeling in the arm shouldn't be connected.
