What Causes Tingling Sensation In The Legs?

More data is needed as following...
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
I understand your concern.
You report to have tingling in your legs while being on Simvastatin and amlodipine.
Tingling in legs is a pricking sensation in the legs. Most probable causes are those related to compression of legs nerves.
In your case, you say to take Simvastatin (I believe for high cholesterol levels). The use of statins (where Simvastatin belongs) is associated with muscle cramps. As you feel tingling, I want to also know if you:
- are having such muscle spasms?
- have personal history of deep vein thrombosis in your legs?
- have you done any test so far: neurological? Doppler ultrasound?
- your legs/feet are swollen? red? If yes, can you provide a photo?
- any personal history of arthritis?
All these information is necessary to determine the right diagnosis.
Looking forward to have the requested information in.
