default
Posted on Wed, 20 Jul 2016
Question: Hi, I have been experiencing tingling in my lips, fingers and a weird feeling in my head all at the same time. It's last for about 30 second to a minute. I have been to the doctor has done CBC nothing out of the ordinary except my kidney numbers are elevated. Was advised to stop my lorsatan, but I still have these feeling at least 5 to 6 times per day.....any advise would be appreciated.

Brief Answer:
Is the intensity constant, increasing or decreasing?

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about this tingling sensation that you have described. Yes, Losartan can be responsible for these symptoms. However, they will not disappear immediately after stopping the drug. Therefore, if the intensity of the symptoms is getting better by the days, I will suggest that you simply follow up and monitor only. This will soon come to pass. You may only get worried if this is getting worse. More reassuring, all tests are normal and as such all should be fine and you shouldn’t freak out just yet.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be. Above all, thanks for using our services.
