What Causes Tingling Sensation In The Scalp?

It doesn't seem to match heartbeat exactly, I compared to pulse in wrist. But it comes and goes about every second or two, not continuous.
One other thing - I think I've had it before, but didn't seem so pronounced or lasting as long as today. Also have had a chronic cough for about two years, have been to the Dr for that, diagnosis was just chronic inflammation, nothing serious. But sometimes cough is bad. Wondering if all the coughing over long period of time can eventually cause vessel aneurysm or something?
Dermatological conditions to consider first.
Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for using HCM.
I have read your question and understand your concerns.
First of all, skalp tingling may be a feature of different dermatological conditions such seborrheic dermatitis for example.
Skalp tingling also may be a symptom of anxiety disorder also.
Getting evaluated by a Dermatologist is necessary to evaluate or exclude any dermatological conditions.
Scalp tingling has nothing to do with brain aneurysms or any brain serious condition.
Cough also doesn't cause aneurysm, chronic uncontrolled hypertension and connective tissue diseases predispose to brain aneurysms.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
Greetings.
