Question: Hey there, last week I started to get tingling sensations on both hands and feet. The tingling seems to be bilateral with both hands and feet. I've had 3 prior car accidents in (2014,2015, last summer). I've also have had vertigo, which has gotten better due to the ent doc cleaning out the wax of my ear.
Do you know a list of ddx that can be associated with my symptoms?
ps: I am getting blood work tomorrow and a cervical/thoracic non contrast mri on mon.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Welcome to HealthCareMagic.com I am Dr.J XXXXXXX Anto Bruno Mascarenhas. I have gone through your query with diligence and would like you to know that I am here to help you.

Tingling sensations on both hands and feet is mostly due to Diabetic Neuropathy or other causes of Distal Neuropathy and may not be related to your 3 prior car accidents.

Please check your Blood Sugar values, especially HbA1c
If they are elevated, treating your diabetes will give you relief

If they are normal, then you have to do Nerve Conduction Studies and undergo detailed evaluation for the Tingling

Hope you found the answer helpful.

After your Blood Reports and MRI Results have come, If you need any clarification / have doubts / have additional questions / have follow up questions, then please do not hesitate in asking again. I will be happy to answer your questions.

Best Wishes for Speedy Recovery
Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care.
