Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for asking.
I am Dr. Prakash HM and I will be answering your query.
Based on your query, my opinion is as follows:
1. Need to look into any nutritional changes in this year. As age increases, protein requirement will be more.
2. Good hydration is essential. Need to look into hydration aspect. Atleast minimum of 6-8 liters water per day. During training days, still more is necessary.
3. I do not want to attribute it to old age, as with age, respiratory, cardiovascular and skeletal muscle changes, will slow you down. However, adequate training could improve upon it. Your fitness at present is wonderful.
4. Do get a few basic tests like hemoglobin, thyroid hormone levels and blood sugar. If these are normal, then need to look into nutrition and hydration aspect.
Rest is essential for recovery. Take rest as necessary. Do meet your doctor for these tests.
Hope it helps.
