What Causes Tiredness, Nausea And Upper Abdominal Pain Upon Waking Up?
Question: I woke up this morning very tired, nauseous, with pain in my upper stomach area. The stomach pain feels sharp, kinda like gas pains, but the pain is not traveling through my gut like normal gass pain. I have been nauseous all day, and extremely fatigued, a lot more than usual. I have a history of a heart murmur, fibromyalgia, migraines, chromic fatigue, hypothyroidism among a few other problems.
Is this something that I should potentially be worried about? If I still feel this way in the morning should I go to urgent care or ER?

Brief Answer:
Explained
Detailed Answer:
Hello and Welcome
I appreciate your concern
Based on your description, its likely to be related to GERD (Gastro esophageal Reflux Disease) and Gastritis. However, an EKG should be done to rule out a cardiac cause. If the EKG is normal then PPIs with gastro kinetics like domeperidone can be advised.
If the pain persists then you should go to an ER near you.
Wishing you best of health
Thanks
