Brief Answer:
Tracheal mass, tracheomalacia, external compression etc can be the cause.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Collapse of trachea is seen in following causes.
1. External compression લીકેજ esophageal mass or mediastinal mass of thyroid swelling etc.
2. Tracheomalacia (cartilage looses it's strength)
3. Tracheal mass like lesions like structures, polyps, nodules etc.
Treatment depends on cause. But in the severe cases support with stent is needed.
So basically we should first diagnose the cause for your Tracheal collapse and treat it.
Please provide me more information like symptoms, reports etc so that I can guide you better.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wishing good health to your patient. Thanks.
