What Causes Trembling Sensation And Sleeping Difficulty While On Paxidep?

Question: Hi i am on paxidep 25 mg since the last 10 dys along with spenzo 0.5 mg . recently since yesterday i have been experiencing very slight trembling sensations . is it normal . sleep was fine for the first few dys . again i am experiencing disturbed sleep in the night . waking up a number of times . is this normal ? how long would it take to settle down. also, i am constantly worrying about my health and cooking up imaginary mental and physical disabilities, consulting online . latest i think i have a nerve problem and keep thinking about it .

I can understand your concern. You are taking Paxidep 25mg, which is an antidepressant and Spenzo 0.5mg, which is an antipsychotic medication.

Both of these medication are prescribed for depression with psychotic symptoms. These medication can cause

; Sleep disturbances
: Abnormal dreams
: Muscle cramps, fatigue
: Spenzo can cause Parkinson like symptoms, abnormal hand and limb movements
: Dizziness, headache

Your symptoms could be due to the combination. You should consult your psychiatrist regarding it and reduce drug dose under supervision.
Your thought of nerve problem could also be due to the drug side effects.

To get some relief, you can

: Try Yoga exercise
: Indulge in your hobbies and divert your attention
: Eat green vegetables, fruits to treat any vitamin deficiency
: Join group for group therapy
: Do meditation to control your nerves.

Spenzo side effects which disappear with time are sleep problems, dizziness, light headedness. While abnormal dreams, Parkinson like features, cramps, headache usually do not disappear.
