What Causes Tremors While Suffering From Severe Diarrhoea?

Question: 8 year old male with a normal temp of 98 degrees F tympanic. vomiting x4, lethargy, and diarrhea x 2 over the last day. He stated he felt like he wanted to vomit and stood hunched over a container and began to have moderate to severe left leg shaking that I asked him was he doing this on purpose and he said no. He has a palpable radial pulse and a strong and regular carotid pulse. Skin is warm and dry and skin turgor test was neg for dehydration.
I am mostly concerned because of his leg shaking any idea why his leg was shaking like that?

I have gone through the medical history of the little boy carefully and understood your concerns.

It is normal reaction to vomiting due to vagal stimuli when vomiting.

Another reason could be that he might have been frightened due to vomiting and current health situation.

I advise to send him to ER and get further consultation with the pediatrician.
