more like trembles and my throat when I swallow feels funny
Brief Answer:
Can you give us some more info?
Detailed Answer:
Hi, tremors and difficulty swallowing are two pretty diverse symptoms. More information would be very useful and allow us to narrow down the field.
Have you recently had any medication/drug that you don't normally take? Or haven't taken in awhile? Drug side effects are on the top of my list of possibilities.
Do you have any endocrinological issues that you know of? Have you ever been diagnosed with a gland problem? Do you take any medications for your thyroid?
Hyperthyroidism is another possibility linking these two symptoms.
Do you have or have you ever had any neurological issues? Strokes? Head injuries, spine issues? Neurological Diseases are low on my list of possibilities, but it needs to be ruled out based on the information you have provided.
Have you ever had a panic attack? Do you have any diagnosed anxiety issues? Have you ever been in therapy for psychological issues? Panic attacks are a distinct possibility in this.
If you can help me out here by giving some more information on what was going on before this started. What your medical history is like. If this has ever happened before. Etc. We can save you time and have a more meaningful discussion, eventually getting a game plan for dealing with your issue quickly.
Thanks for coming to HealthCareMagic.com. I hope this helps.

viral infection I Also have a dry throat and white splotches on tonsils and back of throat
Brief Answer:
Amox isn't used for viruses
Detailed Answer:
Hi, Are you sure its viral? Did the doctor tell you that? Because if it is, the amox is not going to be effective. It's only good against certain bacteria. The more you tell me. The more I think you have a fever and chills from a tonsilar infection. Do you have a thermometer nearby? Can you check your temp?

no fever it was a bacterial infection I started it on Monday and white splotches on my tonsils and throat and that lesion and the same side is swollen under my tongue and what do I take instead of amoxicillin
Brief Answer:
Viral vs Bacterial Infections
Detailed Answer:
Hi there.
A bacterial infection is well treated with Amox, and I wouldn't change the treatment normally, but since I think that these tremors may be due to the Amox, you must go bac to your doctor and get a prescription for another antibiotic. The choice in antibiotic varies from doctor to doctor and from region to region based on the infection profile in your part of the world. In effect. I can't suggest a good antibiotic for you to take unless I examine you and know alot more about your background. Even if I wanted to take the risk, I wouldn't be able to issue a prescription for the medication I named. You will be much better served by calling your primary doctor and disscussing the issue with them.
After the tonsils settle down, I would look into getting them taken out by a good ENT doctor.
A viral infection really can't be managed by any commonly prescribed medication and normally a physician would let you ride it out and treat it symptomatically.
Viral infections normally run their course in a few days.
In the mean time I would recommend a patient like you do salt water gargles with warm water mixed with salt. If your throat is hurting, then I would crush a 325mg plain tablet of aspirin. Mix THAT with warm water and gargle, helps with the pain quite a bit.
I hope this is getting you somewhere. Take Care.
Vin
