Brief Answer:
Certainly from a sexual contact if diagnosis right

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I understand how troubling it is to be diagnosed with a sexually transmitted disease after several years of sticking to the same sexual partner. I don't know exactly how, when and where this infection is coming from but, one thing is sure: It is sexually transmitted. I will also like to note that this is not an infection that can go for 8years without causing any symptoms.

My next question would be whether you had any symptoms before this diagnosis was made. If you had symptoms like vaginal discharge and itches, for sure the diagnosis is correct. If you had no symptoms, I may suggest you double check to make sure this was the right call and not a mistake.

Could it be from your sexual partner? Certainly, if the infection is correctly diagnosed. This is a very sensitive issue and you should be very careful approaching it to make sure you do not point fingers at persons who may be innocent.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Thank you so much for using our services and do feel free to ask for more information and clarifications should need be.
