What Causes Trouble In Swallowing Food In An Elderly Person?

Seems to hang up about the diaphragm. Liquids cure the problem but a minimal amount of pain. Does not happen all the time.
Needs work up and management
Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking
Swallowing difficulty / Dysphagia at the age of 75 with sporadic episodes self resolving with fluids is likely a motility issue common with age related bowel function decline. Also acid reflux can cause it. However i would still suggest an upper GI endoscopy or capsular endoscopy to rule out any anatomical obstruction. Once ruled out, all you would need is diet lifestyle adjustments, some prokinetics to increase the gastric motility and small frequent meals with plenty of fluids.
Talk to a gastroenterologist and let them sort it out for you. I hope it helps. Take good care of yourself and dont forget to close the discussion please.
