What Causes Unconsciousness Followed By Blurred Vision?
Question: This morning I fell right asleep watching TV (almost like a black out--didn't remember going to sleep in the chair). I woke up about 30 minutes later and had double vision with my glasses on. I have prism in them because I do have double vision corrected, but the glasses usually correct it. When I took the glasses off, the vision was worse, of course. If i covered one eye, it took the doubling away. When I got up, I was very wobbly and jerky in my movements. I went and laid down for about an hour, and I seem better. (I was not drinking alcohol and don't due to some meds I take.) I have fibromyalgia and lupus anticoagulant and take Lyrica and Cymbalta, and I take risinopril for high blood pressure. I've been tested for MS (spinal taps 2x due to brain lesions), but my spinal fluid comes back A-OK.) Could this have been a Mini-stroke?
Brief Answer:
There is a possibility.

Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.
There is indeed a possibility of a XXXXXXX stroke but in order to rule it out a proper clinical evaluation is required first. I would insist you to visit the ER and get yourself evaluated.
