Brief Answer:
First line of treatment is anti-inflammatory medication.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for your query.

1. Since the pain is only since a couple of days, there is no need to worry.

2. A simple nasal examination and a mild anti-inflammatory medication should settle the issue.

3. An early infection (colds, sinusitis), in the nose or surrounding tissues or contact of mucosal surfaces inside the nose can cause such pain.

4. It all depends upon the progress of the pain. If it subsides, no further investigation is necessary.

5. If it persists, do write back.

I hope that I have answered your query. If you have any more questions I will be available to answer them.

Regards.
