What Causes Unusual Vaginal Bleeding While On Norethisterone?

Question: Noreisterone question?
I have been taking noreisterone 3 times a day 5mg to delay period, been working fine. Have been taking my tablets 8:30am 4:00pm and 10:30pm, but withe the clocks recently going back an hour means that the day they went back i took my tablet an hour later than usual, it is only one day since than and i recently went the toliet and there was pink/red blood with little clots and in a gooey fluid, could that be due to the recent change in time.
If so could i at 10:30pm take 2 tablets to try and stop the bleeding producing into a full blown period only havent had one for 2 weeks due to holiday and was taking another weeks worth of noreisterone given by doctor, only since the bleeding around 7:00 pm i have been the toliet and no further blood present. but dont want to risk bledding any further.
So if i take two tablets at 10:30 pm instead of one would this be sucessful in stopping me bleeding any further, as havent got any symptoms like pains or cramps just dont want a period for another week as have supply of doctors.
Many thanks

Brief Answer:
Continue the drugs normally!
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.
I am so sorry to hear about this mix up that you have reported. I have reviewed your information fully and the change in time by an hour is not responsible for this. This is not unusual and with no further bleeding, there is no need to get worried. Also, don't take two tablet at once on the grounds of trying to correct this.
I hope this helps. I wish you well. Thanks for using our services and feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.

So what could of the bleeding be due to, as it is the day after the clocks went back, I have recently been the toliet again and there is no further blood but my urine is greener than usual, and when i had the blood it was first notice in my urine and than when i wiped, there was pink/red with little clots in a gooet fluid, so why might that of happened, i have been very run down recently, with stomach bug and two lots of anti biotics and steroid cream for my vulva lichen sclerosis. So could it of happened to being run down and not feeling a 100% since August 24th and not feeling well since than.
Much appreciated
Much appreciated
Brief Answer:
This might have been from the vaginal tract and not the uterus per se!
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for this follow up query.
This might have been from the vaginal tract especially the lichen sclerosis and not necessarily the uterus. With no more bleeding, I will suggest that you monitor and continue the treatment only. Though we always prescribe a 12hours interval in between prescriptions, a flexibility of one hour is not a big issue to be so concerned about.
What exactly have you been experiencing in terms of symptoms that make you feel down? I will like the opportunity to review them and make any suggestion that could be of help.
I wish you well and hope to hear from you.

In August i had a flare up of my lichen scoerosis where i had abcesses and cuts and slices etc and had to have two lots of anti biotics, prior to that i in may i had coldsores that didnt got and was continues until july.
Since August, i have had burst of stomach ache/pain where its like a stich feeling like when you run, and it can be extremely painful and the only way to ease the pain is to lie down otherwise when i walk pain increases, that comes with only sometimes nauseating feeling. Also i use to go the toliet to releive stools 1 a week, but recently ive notice i can have bursts where ill go every day or twice or 3 times in one day and in August I went 6 times and thats unusual for me and its acompanied by griping pains and stomach ache and its not always solid but its not diarhhea
Also generally shaky, tired, cold than hot, headache, and sometimes my urine hurts and thats due to my lichen sclerosis as thats one of my symptoms it could be if i dont urinate within two hours it would be strong and have a smell, but what ive noticed more recently is that I urinate and there may be little yellow in urine, and than i stand up and i feel like there is some left so sit back down to urinate again, but it feels like i need to use more pressure to get it out and this is when its more green and visable on tissue to the rest of my urine and when i had the blood and gooey fluid, as was going the toliet for other than urine not to go into to much detail..

Brief Answer:
This is probablt irritabel bowel syndrome(IBS)
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for this detailed followup.
I have reviewed this information fully and it is suggestive of IBS. This will be best addressed by a gastroeneterologist. Treatment consists in dietary modification and regular physical exercise. Medications can be given as well to relief the pains and frequent bowel movements. However, I will like to see this confirmed by a local gastroeneterologist after a comprehensive clinical examination and laboratory investigations.
I hope this helps and guides. I wish you well. Feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be. LET ME ALSO KNOW WHAT YOUR IMMEDIATE THOUGHTS ARE AT THIS TIME.
